How does it work?
Search engines provide search results that are only relevant to what the user is searching for. This is done by “crawling” the website to better understand what it is about. Also, search engines use “spiders” to collect all sorts of information about your website, including pages. This makes it easy for them to determine if they should serve a user with a page on their website. They check page speed, title tags, social signals, internal links, backlinks, etc. Crawling also helps you deliver results that are as relevant as possible to certain topics or keywords.

International domain strategy
There are different ways to create an international and multilingual site. Essentially the question is whether to go for local top level domains like mydomain.com, subdirectories e.g. mondomaine.com/fr or subdomains, e.g. fr.mondomaine.com.
In general, a local top-level domain (TLD) provides the best starting point because it contains the most geographic information for the search engine. For example, Expedia.ca ranks better for “travel” on Google.ca than Expedia.com, although Expedia.com has more pages indexed and more backlinks than the .ca site displaying a local domain name has more weight. This helpful video by Matt Cutts, who leads the search quality/webspam team at Google, explains the best practice strategy for multiple top-level domains to maximize visibility in multiple countries.
Promotion of offers through various digital channels:

Social media is the perfect partner to facilitate holiday marketing strategies and achieve your goals. The industry, company, and target audience will dictate choosing the right social media platform and ad type.
